Robert A. Roe (Amsterdam, 1944), graduate in Psychology and Doctor of Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, is professor emeritus of Organization Theory and Organizational Behavior at the School of Business and Economics of the University of Maastricht. He has been Leibinitz Professor at the University of Leipzig, and visiting professor at the universities of Trento, Michigan, Valencia, British Columbia, Johannesburg, Sofia and the Technical University of Berlin.

Pioneer in the development of the European Scientific Psychology, and defender of a dynamic and continuous approach in the scientific analysis of human behavior, has been the driving force of numerous European scientific societies in Psychology, as well as certifications of psychological specialties.

He has directed the Netherlands Aeromedical Institute and has served as associate director of studies at the Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Author of numerous scientific articles and books, his work has been recognized with the EAWOP Life Time Achievement Award, fellow of the International Association of Applied Psychology, Fellow of Maastricht Research School of Economics of Technology and Organization and the Special Award for Contributions to EAWOP .
