Biographical outline:

Antonio Lazcano Araujo (Tijuana, Mexico, 1950) is professor of Origin of Life at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and honorary director of the Lynn Margulis Center for Evolutionary Biology of the Galapagos Islands, dependent on the University of San Francisco de Quito Between 2002 and 2006 ISSOL will preside, the international society for the origin of life. Currently, he is a member of the National Council of Mexico.
