Departure on November 10 at 9 o'clock. The University of Valencia in coordination with the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society and the Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation, continues the Erasmus in the Territory Programme. This 4th edition will include formative itineraries thus enabling to present some Valencian municipalities that are referents for its culture and heritage.

These itineraries are addressed to Erasmus students in the University of Valencia during the academic year 2018/2019. These pathways, designed with the participation of the corresponding local councils, are defined by their formative desire and its aim to make Erasmus students aware of the heritage, culture and scenic values of the Valencian geography.

Moixent- Els Alforins

Terres dels Alforins are formed by the municipalities of Fontanars dels Alforins, la Font de la Figuera and Moixent. It is a natural border that shares landscapes, climate, economy, history, culture and tradition.

It is located southwest of Valencia, between the sea and the Castilian meseta, where one of its attractions is its colourful non-anthropised landscape between vines, pines, cereals and olive trees.

With a wide archaeological and ethnological patrimony we can emphasise La Bastida de les Alcusses, the greatest Iberian settlement of the Valencian Community. Also, it has an emblematic local setting, “El Bosquet.”
