Project INNEST/2024/600
Industrial research to obtain a sustainable system for the biorational control of persimmon cotonets: Pseudocococcus longispinus and Planococcus citri.
The main objective of the project is the development of a method for the control of pseudococcid pests affecting persimmon based on the use of the sexual pheromones of these pests in compostable devices, specifically Pseudococcus longispinus and Planococcus citri, providing farmers and agricultural producers in the Valencian Community with a sustainable and specific tool for the control of these particularly damaging pests.
The project will be financed by the Comunidad Valenciana Programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027 with an investment of 134.996,63 €
