Around 5,000 people came to the Science Park this morning to celebrate the great Science and Innovation festival of the University of Valencia. Expociència, on its tenth anniversary, has shown its stability, but also the consolidation of an initiative aimed at sharing the scientific spirit with people and stimulating scientific vocations.
This year, visitors were able to enjoy more than one hundred playful proposals on science and innovation. In addition to the activities that the research institutes located in the Science Park (PCUV) and the School
Higher Technical Engineering (ETSE) offer every year, the party has been attended by the companies of the Park, different centers, departments and entities of the University of Valencia (Botanical Garden, Clinics of the University - Lluís Alcañiz Foundation, Museum of Natural History of the University, etc.) and the Experimenta Fair. This tenth edition has also been joined by different associations and NGOs, the City of Arts and Sciences, and the
The Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ-UPV/CSIC), among others.
Expociència 2018 has been a reflection of how science can be fun if it is transmitted through passion, connivance and responsibility. Organised by the Science Park, Expociència has the collaboration of the University of Valencia and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), as well as the support of the Generalitat Valenciana.
