The Master’s Degree in Advanced English Studies is aimed at graduates who have completed previous Bachelor’s degrees, preferably in English Studies/English Philology, and that accredit knowledge of the English language at an advanced level (at least C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Knowledge of the English language at an advanced level (at least C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) may be accredited by official certification or by taking a level test. Any of the following official accreditation certificates of the required level to access the Master’s degree will be accepted: University of Cambridge: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), University of Cambridge: BEC Higher (Business English Certificate), Trinity College: Integrated Skills in English III (ISE III) (Grades 10, 11), Educational Testing Service (ETS): -TOEFL iBT from 110 to 120 points (Test of English as a Foreign Language – Internet Based Test), Educational Testing Service (ETS): -TOEIC from 945 to 990 points (Test of English for International Communication), Pearson Test of English (PTE): PTE General Level 4, European language certificates (telc): teclEnglish C1, Official certificates of C1 and C2 level awarded by the Official Schools of Languages, Degrees or equivalent qualifications, issued by foreign universities, for studies carried out in English as a vehicular language.
