Approaches to the context Castle-Palace of Alaquàs
The castle-palace of Alaquàs is one of the most outstanding works of Valencian Renaissance architecture. In the centenary of its declaration as a Historical and Artistic Monument (1918), it is intended to provide an updated approach to some of the historical, cultural, architectural and artistic aspects that mark and establish its uniqueness. Specialized researchers will deal with topics such as nobility, lordship, banditry, humanism, architecture, art, festive events, etc. In addition, together with the audience, they will participate in a round table that will serve as a meeting point between different areas of study and analysis.
The University of Valencia, faithful to its commitment to the territory and local Valencian society, promotes this academic action, linked to training, research and knowledge transfer, which aims to become one in relation to Alaquàs and its region.
Timetable: Thursday, September 27th from 18.00-21.00h and Friday, September 28th from 18.00-21.00h
