Since 2004 the Universitat de València organises a seminar and a competition called “Open i Clinic Internacional de Kendo UNIVERSITAT DE VALÈNCIA”, directed by renowned professors and with an increasing participation.
On 2005 it started an interchange with the Waseda University (Tokyo). Since then, we receive in February a delegation of Japanese professors and academics, directed by the professor Takayuki Yano (8th Dan). The delegation of the UV visits the Waseda University during the summer.
These events are complemented with a series of conferences of approximation to Japan and its culture supported by its Consulate.
