The Universitat de València started on 6 November the 2025-2026 season of the Autonomous University Sports Championship (CADU). They achieved good results in all the sports disciplines in which they had participated. The teams showed a great level and good coordination in the first day of the competition.

The indoor football matches were played at the UV Pavilion where both teams, male team and female team won 11-0 and 23-0, respectively. In basketball, in the North Hall of the Classrooms building, the female team won 103-50 and the male team 74-50.

In football, the UV achieved two new victories, the female team won 16-0 and the male team 6-0. The volleyball matches were played at Benicalap’s Pavilion. Both male and female’s team won 3-0. The handball matches were held at the Malva-rosa Sports Centre where the UV achieved two new positive results: 35-20 in the male match and 37-18 in the female match.

Due to organizational adjustments of the UCH-CEU, the tennis and paddle tennis competitions, in which the UV was a visitor, moved to the courts of the Tarongers campus. In tennis, Maria Martí won her indivisual match (6-0, 6-0), the mixed double formed by Ricard Soriano and Mar Ribera also won (6-2, 6-3), while Xavi Vila lost his match (4-6, 3-6). This lefts a global balance of 2-1 for the UV. In paddle tennis, the three teams won: male (6-0, 6-0), female (6-3, 6-4) and mixed (6-4, 6-4).

This start of competition leaves a positive assessment for the teams of the Universitat de València, which will continue its participation in the CADU next 18 November, against the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Regarding rugby matches, the tournament starts on 11 November and will be concentrated, so the teams will be playing against each other during all the day. The female matches will be played at the rugby field of Quatre Carreres while the male matches will be at the rugby field on the Túria. Both, male and female UV categories they will face on this first day the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) at 10:20 and its last match of the day will be against University Miguel Hernández (UMH) at 13:20.
