Human rights and feminism

Course encompassed in the 36th Summer University of Gandia

Overview:

Women have been historically excluded from their condition of right holder and their rights have been systematically violated. With this course, we aim to reflect on human rights, gender, women’s rights and how these questions can affect particular demands of democracy and citizenship. Additionally, they also address how feminism has achieved to secure the rights of women and equality.
