This week begins the evaluation procedure for the Teaching Staff of the Universitat de València, as defined in the Teaching Assessment Model (DOCENTIA Programme) approved by the Government Council Agreements ACGUV 229/2019 on December 17th. The aim of this procedure is to contribute for a better teaching quality in the UV.
All the teaching staff must be evaluated every five years. Therefore, this call will have to evaluate the active teaching staff who has completed on December 31st 2019 the fifth year since their incorporation to the Universitat de València hired as official teaching and research staff or as staff member, or being in possession of a seniority date for more than five years. Teaching staff will receive a notification from the Quality Unit stating the beginning of the procedure. The teaching staff who is in a process of accreditation, selection or promotion, for the sole purpose of obtaining an information certificate, may also request the evaluation for a period of less than five years.
From January 9th to February 6th, 2020, the teaching staff who have to be evaluated will be able to access the SysDocentia App to review and complete the information coming from the databases. In addition, the teaching staff will have to make a self-report in which they will evaluate the overall dimensions of their teaching activity and make a reflection focused on improvement.
