INNOTRANSFER is an initiative of the Network of Valencian Science Parks (RePCV) promoted by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) aimed at various industrial and service sectors of the Valencian Region (agri-food, automotive and sustainable mobility, sustainable habitat, enabling technologies and health, among others). It is a multi-sectoral initiative of open innovation and collective management that aims to boost innovation in key economic sectors supporting its Regional Strategy for Innovation and Smart Specialisation RIS3. INNOTRANSFER has established itself as a reference forum that connects knowledge, technology and companies in the Valencian Region.

The Universitat de València actively participates in the initiative through the involvement of its Innovation Agents belonging to the Vice-Rectorate for Innovation and Transfer.

The events carried out in the framework of this AVI initiative were structured in three parts: 1) A webinar with presentations by companies, administrations and experts on initiatives and opportunities in the field; 2) A tool for the submission of Expressions of Interest (EoI) by researchers and companies; 3) A matchmaking exercise through which to put complementary EoIs in contact with each other.
