Meeting point: Torres de Serrans

In collaboration with the Societat d'Educació Matemàtica de la Comunitat Valenciana Al-Khwârizmî this space is intended to be used as an educational resource to disseminate and teach mathematics so that anyone can develop positive attitudes towards them and achieve a more significant learning outcome. The planned routes will bring important mathematical activities to the city of València: its streets, parks, public areas, its old centre as well as its modern areas, such as the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. The aim of this activity is that high school and sixth form students learn to observe and appreciate the mathematics that surround them. The route will begin with an introductory session in which the maps of the city will be explained and they will be handed the necessary material (tape measure, inclinometer, calculators, learning materials…)

Route 1: From the Torres de Serrans to the Botanical Garden
