The ombuds officer attended the meeting of the Executive Committee of the CEDU, held at the University of Alcalá on 26th May. At the meeting, among other matters, information was provided on the organisation of the next State Meeting of University Ombudsmen, to be held at the end of September at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

The following day, the Ombudswoman and the Deputy Ombudswoman attended the Technical Seminar, organised in two parallel sessions, which dealt with the following topics:

"Effective measures of access for people with disabilities in the PDI", aimed at Ombudsmen and Ombudswomen.

"Tactics and techniques in the reception of complaints in the Ombuds' Offices", aimed at administrative and service staff.

The conference ended with a guided tour of the Principal of the University of Alcalá.
