The conference, organised by the EVES - GSK – UV Chair, will take place on 27 September at 4:30pm on the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
The registration period for this free conference will remain open between 18 to 27 September, until the beginning of the event. Attendance will be possible either on-site or online.
The antimicrobial resistance has become one of the most relevant topic in the current health sector panorama, given its increasing threat for global health. During the event, multiple invited speakers will debate about the current challenges in the use of antibiotics and the strategies to maintain their efficacy. The topics discussed will include the RAM and PRAN European strategies, statistics and relevant data about impact in population, as well as the innovation options within the antimicrobial therapies, among others.
