Academic, scientific or professional interest: The psycho-pedagogical knowledge have been specified and consolidated in recent years, as one of the fundamental elements of the structure of support of the educational system. In such a way that the current Higher Education Act includes among the principles of education in our country: the “educational and professional orientation of students”; “the education for the conflict prevention and for the pacified decision of students” or “the development of the effective equality between men and women”. Those proposals have been developed in much more detail in the regulations that regularise the primary and secondary schools, by means of the creation of Pedagogical Coordination Committees and those of Orientation Departments. All of these have consolidated the figure of the educational psychologist, to such an extent that it has been turned into a fundamental element of the intervention with the students, firmly established in the structure of the educational system. The professional of the Educational Psychology focuses its functions on the educational processes of orientation and teaching, learning, by developing its task in a wide range of occupations, both in the educational and socio-labour environment.
