The Universitat calls for the grants UVemprèn-aprèn of up to €10,000, to develop teaching innovation projects that promote university entrepreneurship.

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services calls for grants up to €10,000, of the programme UVemprèn-aprèn to develop teaching innovation projects that favour university entrepreneurship, within the framework of the “Campus UVemprèn - Santander Universidades” and the agreements of the Universitat with the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET) of the University of California at Berkeley.

This call is addressed to the Doctor Teaching and Research Staff of the Universitat de València, with a permanent and full-time commitment and who can prove that they have at least a B2 level of English language skills.

The purpose of the call is dual. On the one hand, to promote the participation of the Universitat’s Teaching and Research Staff in the programme  “Global Innovation Collider” del Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET)” of the University of California at Berkeley. On the other hand, the development of a teaching innovation project on the campus, which favours university entrepreneurship by bringing some of the knowledge acquired in the programme closer to the students of the Universitat de València.

The call is endowed with €90,000 and each beneficiary may receive up to a maximum of €10,000 to cover the costs of the innovation and mobility project to carry out stays to be chosen between two modalities:

MODALITY A: stays that will allow the participation in the “Global Innovation Collider” programme, which will necessarily include the participation of the beneficiaries in the Berkeley Method Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, to be held in August 2020.

MODALITY B: stays that will allow the participation “Global Innovation Collider” and other SCET events, upon invitation.

In both cases, it will be necessary to develop a teaching innovation project that favours university entrepreneurship aimed at the students of the Universitat de València.

The deadline for application is April 30, 2020.
