Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Biology will take effect in the 2009-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Biology at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 16 October 2000. The undergraduate degree will be introduced in the following way: the 1st year in 2009-2010, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year in 2010-2011. The 5-year degree will be gradually phased out. Once the courses have been phased out, four exam attempts as well as tutorials will be maintained for each subject.
