5th edition of the course Keithley

  • July 17th, 2019

The 5th edition of the practical course “Experimentation with electronic devices for low-level measures - Keithley Course.

The experimental offer has been improved. 4 new experiences have been added to the 6 pre-existent ones. The aim of the course is to offer a space so that students can know and use basic measurement capabilities of electronic devices that can be found in research laboratories and that are not available in the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The electricity source AC+DC 6221 (characterisation of one conductivity electrode) and the measurement routines of the electrometer 6517A (resistivity measurement) have raised special interest among the audience.

The course is intended for last year students of degrees that require competences in experimental terms (Electronic and Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). 18 students coming from the degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, the master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and doctoral students have attended this edition of the event.
