Conference "The SDGs from the intergenerational perspective"

The Faculty of Geography and History receives today 120 students from the IES de Patraix and their teaching staff, who will participate together with students from Grado and Nau Gran from our center in the Conference on the SDGs from an intergenerational perspective. The activity, which will be inaugurated by the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Sustainability and Healthy Living, Pilar Serra Añó, the Vice-Rector for Culture and Society, Ester Alba Pagán, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and History, Josep Montesinos i Martínez, and Professor Ana Ancheta, director of the Teaching Innovation Project on World Education Week (SAME), has been promoted through another Center Teaching Innovation Project, directed by Professor Pilar Peñarrubia, focused on the transformative potential of intergenerational approaches in education. education. After a brief presentation, the participants will be divided into eight classrooms to debate and reflect on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Development Agenda, and a total of two per classroom, with SDG 17 being transversal to all of them. The activity, which has the support of the Center's Innovation Plan (2022-2023), will close after sharing the conclusions of each group and a final discussion.
