Physiotherapists are health professionals, in accordance with the Law 44/2003, 21 November, of Organisation of Health Professions, which regulates the Preliminary Title, article 2.b, as health profession. Physiotherapy is a healthcare discipline that shows a high demand in our society, as well as a wide recognition due to the utilization of natural agents such as physical therapy and exercise, and the close relationship that is established between the physiotherapist and his or her patient.
