The Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services, through UVjob and with the collaboration of Banco Santander, has opened the registration for the second edition of the Programa Inserta to improve the employability of the University of Valencia’s undergraduate students. The deadline to register will remain open until April 15 inclusive.
Programa Inserta aims to improve the employability of the Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Criminology and Political and Public Administration Sciences students and it is intended for 3rd and 4th year students of these degrees.
During the training itinerary, the students’ future employability will be strengthened by learning professional skills and defining professional profiles and objectives.
The programme also includes activities to promote employability through business networking; provision of resources and techniques to job hunt effectively; knowledge of the labour market; identification of professional interests; improvement of transversal professional skills; analysis and self-knowledge of professional skills; and decision-making to plan for their own professional project.
To this end, the following activities will take place: in terms of career guidance, two individual sessions; with regard to training sessions, four courses on personal branding and job search through social networks, entrepreneurship, creativity and adaptability to change, effective communication and basic digital skills to improve productivity and employability; networking to boost the professional career of participating students; and an online career guidance day with companies.
