Last week the sessions of the “Conèixer” programme took place on the ETSE-UV. More than 1500 secondary education students came to these sessions, in which they had the opportunity to visit the centre accompanied by senior students and discover the course catalogue of the school.

Mentors from all the degrees of the ETSE-UV were in charge of guiding the students and accompany them in the different workshops organised by the professors of the centre. The students could choose among the following workshops: induction heating, neuronal workshop, signal analysis, sensors and instrumentation, hang gliding, virtual acoustics, motion capture, multimedia streaming, animation, micro-robots, radiation measurement and Data Science.

In these open sessions, the future university students, received information on the different degrees in Engineering given in the Universitat de València, apart from getting to know the facilities and laboratories of the degrees in Informatics Engineering, Multimedia Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Electronic Engineering for  Telecommunications, Industrial Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Data Science, where the students make their practices.
