Carel Trobades
II Sustainability Meeting at the Universitat de València

TOURISM AND SUSTAINABLE USE OF THE TERRITORY, THE PLANET AND PEOPLE’S RIGHTS TO IT

The Universitat de València is currently immersed in a transformative and transversal process involving the whole Valencian society and its surroundings with the ODS: yo sí! project, led by the Office of the Vice-Principle for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability. The UV’s Sustainability Meeting is meant to be a permanent forum for knowledge, debate and awareness about the challenges standing before us, such as society, with the goal of looking for participative strategies leading to the implementation of Agenda 2030 to raise awareness about the planet’s limited resources and take joint action for change. To achieve this new social and economic paradigm, it’s necessary to establish alliances with the public Valencian administration, organisations and the business sector. UV’s mission is to create these synergies as part of its social commitment.

That’s why we invite you to the second Sustainability Meeting, which will take place on September 28th at 5:00 p.m., University-Business Foundation of Valencia’s Assembly Hall, in hybrid format (online / face-to-face).
