Outgoing Free Mobility 2023-2024 (Free mover)

The Mobility Regulations of the University of Valencia consider doing a free mobility stay in a High Education Institution that does not have a mobility agreement with the University of Valencia for the degree in which the student is enrolled.
The student will be responsible for his admission as a free mover student at the Host University. The free mobility stay does not include an economic aid by the University of Valencia, and will also not exempt the payment of the enrolment fees at the Host University. The students will have to pay the enrolment fees at the University of Valencia and at the Host University. They will have to enrol international credits at the University of Valencia, like the rest of the students that carry out a mobility stay. The free mover students will not be considered as Erasmus students or International Programme students at the University of Valencia.

Free Mobility of outgoing students 2020-2021

Due to the health situation created by Covid-19 and the uncertainty of its evolution, it has been decided not to authorize free mobility stays in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Consequently, there will be no call for Free Mobility for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Free mobility of outgoing students 2015-2016

General Information

The Mobility Regulations of the University of Valencia consider doing a free mobility stay in a High Education Institution that does not have a mobility agreement with the University of Valencia for the degree in which the student is enrolled.
The student will be responsible for his admission as a free mover student at the Host University. The free mobility stay does not include an economic aid by the University of Valencia, and will also not exempt the payment of the enrolment fees at the Host University. The students will have to pay the enrolment fees at the University of Valencia and at the Host University. They will have to enrol international credits at the University of Valencia, like the rest of the students that carry out a mobility stay. The free mover students will not be considered as Erasmus students or International Programme students at the University of Valencia.Free Mobility students have the same duties as mobility students, and also the rights established in sections a) b) c) and f) of the article num. 20 of the Mobility Regulations.
Free Mobility Call can be carried out during degree and master studies. The students from a degree without courses will not be able to benefit from free mobility.

Requirements:
a) To be enrolled at University of Valencia in a degree that does not have a signed mobility agreement between the University of Valencia and the High Education Institutions where the Free Mobility will be carried out.
b) To be enrolled in that official degree at University of Valencia when the application is submitted and also during the stay period.
c) To have an acceptance letter from the Host University to be able to course the requested studies, which will have to specify the academic period, the requested study level, the studied degree and the study centre where the student will carry out the Free Mobility.
d) To have the authorisation of the mobility coordinator at the University of Valencia, through the signature of the studies proposal.

Procedure:
The students that take part in Free Mobility will have their coursed studies recognised in the same way as the rest of the Exchange students. Therefore, they will have to submit the Application of the Free Mobility at the International Relations Service, during the previous academic year of the stay, together with the following documents:
• Acceptance letter at the Host University (it will indicate the academic period, the required study level, the degree, and the study centre where the student will carry out the free mobility).
• The Coordinator’s authorisation of the mobility degree at University of Valencia, through the signature of the proposal studies. The signature of the proposal studies by the academic coordinator at the Host University and the student can be signed after the free mobility application. Once the documents are checked, the International Relations Service will send a nomination to the student. Not until the student receives the mentioned nomination, he/she will be able to start his stay as a Free Mobility student.
