I’m from Italy where I pursued the bachelor’s degree in psychology at Padova University writing a thesis on “the sense of presence in Virtual Reality” with professors Luciano Gamberini and Anna Spagnolli (2010-2013). During the second year I did the Erasmus student program at Karoly Gaspar University in Budapest (Hungary) for 6 months.

Later, I pursued the master’s degree at Catholic University of Milan on Marketing Psychology writing a thesis “PsyHelp: App business to consumer to increase the engagement between therapist and patient” with professors Giuseppe Riva and Stefano Triberti (2013-2015). On the while of my master I did an internship at Mediaset company (Milan) and I took part at AIESEC Milan with foreign internship at AIESEC Fayoum (Egypt) and AIESEC Lima (Peru’). 

After the master’s degree I moved to Mexico City for a post graduated internship and I worked at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) at the Laboratorio de Ciberspicologia with professor Georgina Cardenas. During the year I worked on a Tele-rehabilitation project with a VR platform (2016-2017). 

On October 2017 I started the PhD at Valencia University under the direction of Rosa Baños and Giuseppe Riva. The research project is focused on the model of embodiment through VR to change perspective and to study the change on empathy and prosocial behavior. From September 2019 to December 2019 I was in Mexico City at UNAM for a pilot study about empathy and perspective taking through VR for sexual harassment. The aim of the project is to study the feasibility of the 360 environments to change the perspective of man into woman and change, consequently, their violent attitude and the sense of empathy toward women.
