This film series coordinated by Lucía Sapiña, student of the Master’s Degree in History of Science and Scientific Communication and collaborator of the journal Mètode, deals from various perspectives with one of the diseases with major presence in current society. Despite that statistics indicate an increasing index of survivals, this disease stills remains in the collective imagination associated with death. To what extent does this perspective conditions such simplified view that could be detrimental when facing it? The cancer is a challenge of thousand faces, a complex disease that requires, therefore a view from different angles.
