Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories informs that the Municipios ODS platform is organising a webinar to learn more about the data space for green, healthy and sustainable cities on Monday 22nd September, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The online event will cover what a data space is and how it works, the benefits it brings to municipalities, and how to access the Data Spaces Kit, a European aid programme that covers the cost of joining the space with up to 50.000 euros for public entities and 30.000 euros for private entities.
The “Green, Healthy and Sustainable Cities” data space allows territories to use real data on health, sustainability, mobility, air quality and urban heat islands to better understand their territory, plan ahead and with evidence, prioritise decisions based on their real impact, and improve the quality of life of those who live in the city.
To confirm your attendance, register here and you will receive an email with the link to the session.
A data space is a collaborative and secure environment where participating entities can organize, integrate, and analyse existing information on mobility, health, air quality, territorial inequality, and security in order to make more effective decisions that are aligned with their local challenges.
Participating in one of these spaces will enable these entities to identify critical issues or inequalities objectively, prioritize interventions and investments based on technical evidence, evaluate the real impact of their public policies, move toward certifications in sustainability and local governance, and strengthen transparency and data-driven decision-making.
