The European project «AS4EDI. European EDI Providers integrating the AS4 eSENS Profile», co-financed by the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility and coordinated by the University of Valencia in collaboration with LMT Group, ends this month. The work of the six entities involved in the project, which are also certified PEPPOL access points, has focused on updating the eDelivery technological solutions they offer to their clients.

The main objective of the initiative is the promotion of eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) between public and private entities through the AS4 messaging protocol and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP) in six PEPPOL access points certified from different Member States. Specifically, the AS4EDI consortium consists of entities from Belgium, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom.

In this sense, the initiative aims to offer to the clients of each entity a service according to the requirements of the European Union, allowing them to send and receive electronic documentation from the member states. eDelivery services are a safe and fast way to manage electronic documents while saving resources and time.
