The IRTIC, coordinator of the LOD-RoadTran18 project, has met the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and Desidedatum as participating entities of the initiative to properly implement its activity 9, "Impact assessment and Guidelines for NAPs". The main objectives of this task are the development of a reusable and applicable-EU-wide evaluation and monitoring framework aiming at assessing the impacts of the reuse of traffic LOD, as well as the deployment of an EU-wide guide for national access points (NAPs).

Among other objectives, the project aims to improve the interoperability, distribution and reusability at European level of traffic data from Spain and the Czech Republic. It also looks for them to become Linked Open Data (LOD).

During the meeting, consideration of different types of data sources by UPV and Desidedatum was discussed with the aim of providing added value by being linked to traffic data, as well as the proposal for queries in natural language that could be useful for the project. As this is a global activity, it has been stressed that both Spanish and Czech Republic information should be taken into account.

IRTIC, LMT Group, Directorate-General of Traffic, Desidedatum Data Company S.L, ESAM Tecnología S.L., Universitat Politècnica de València, TamTam Research and the Czech Technical University participate in LOD-RoadTran18. This project is funded by the European Union through the CEF.
