INTRAS researchers participate in the 4th International Conference EnTRetextos, to be held from 23 to 25 October 2024 in Valencia.
The papers presented within the Topic "Pragmatics and discourse analysis: specialized genres, multimodality, discursive communities" are entitled "Discourse of Road Safety: a systematic review", by Arash Javadinejad, Mireia Faus and Francisco Alonso, and “Interpersonal discourse in road safety communication: a cross-linguistic analysis of DGT and DOT websites”, by Arash Javadinejad and Francisco Ivorra.
The 4th International Conference EnTRetextos is an event hosted by the Interuniversity Institute for Applied Modern Languages (IULMA) at the University of Valencia. The aim of this conference is to create a forum for scientific debate for both young and experienced researchers in multiple disciplines of Applied Linguistics (translation, languages for professional and academic purposes, pragmatics, discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, lexicology, Construction Grammar, cognitive linguistics).
The theme of the Conference is "Bridging the gap between construction grammar, discourse analysis, and translation: teaching, research, and profession"
