On December 3, 2019, the act of defending the doctoral thesis was held at the University Institute for Traffic Research and Road Safety of the University of Valencia (INTRAS): “Labor Road Safety. The influence of Traffic Accidents in the Work environment” directed by Doctors Luis Montoro González, Francisco Alonso Pla and Rafael Ruiz Calatrava.

The tribunal composed by Francisco Tortosa Gil (president), Cesáreo Fernández Fernández (vocal) and Ágata María Sanz Hermida (secretary) agreed to grant the rating of "outstanding cum laude".

Dr. Fco. Javier Llamazares Robles holds a degree in Marketing from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.

He currently works as Director of the Foundation for Road Safety FESVIAL.
