The National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT) of the Dominican Republic, has held its second meeting on 27 Sempember 2017, which was attended by the Director of INTRAS, Francisco Alonso, as Universitat de València representative and INTRANT adviser.

During the meeting, chaired by the Minister for Public Works, Gonzalo Castillo, the Executive Director of INTRANT and engineer Claudia Franchesca De Los Santos highlighted some interinstitutional agreements to which the institution has reached, such as the collaboration agreement signed with INTRAS, of the Universitat de València.

De los Santos talked about the advances experienced by the institution, less than three months after its creation, and presented the drafts of seven regulations, which after being agreed will be sent to the Executive Power, for approval.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Interior and Police, Public Health and Social Assistance, the Ministry of Education, the Municipal League, the Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development.
