Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director del INTRAS and advisor of the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT) of the Dominican Republic, gave the presentation "Traffic Safety and the role of infrastructure management” together with the director of Sustainable Mobility, Ing. Alexandra Cedeño, at the Symposium Smart cities and value of time: Transport planning for the "on move” society.

This symposium aims to contribute to the debate on planning transport system and urban development according to the needs and activities undertaken by citizens of the modern "on move" society. The symposium has been organized in collaboration with the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
