Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, has given a workshop entitled: "Traffic and Road Safety: basic foundations for Communication", dedicated to journalists and editors covering transportation issues in the Dominican Republic.

In this workshop, organized by the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transport (INTRANT) and held on January 18 and 19, 2018 in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) addressed issues such as "Basic concepts of traffic and road safety", "Importance of the means of communication to improve road safety", "Situation of traffic and road safety in the Dominican Republic", "Regulatory framework", "National Strategic Road Safety Plan", among others.
