At the Botànic this summer, we are premiering the exhibition'El Jardín Secreto' (The Secret Garden), a musical artistic project in which the author, Lucía Antonini, was inspired by plants, and which led her to compose the songs on her album, design a character and record a video clip at the Botànic Garden of the University of Valencia.

The exhibition shows how a creative process can evolve from an idea that may be as small as a petal or as large as a cliff. In this case, Antonini's head has been crossed by lakes, trees, Boston, the Mursi tribe, Rousseau, roses, Frida Kahlo, dance and the Botanical Gardens. It seems an impossible mix, but it is all part of its inner landscape, which explores and invites us to join in the experience to discover our own.

In this exhibition we can enjoy the video clip that Lucia developed in the Botanical Garden, the drawings that were used for the pre-production of the video, the lyrics of some songs that are part of her album, the photographs that illustrate it and recreate a character invented in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, and a corner to represent all the plant elements that inspired the creation of the project.

For the inauguration, which will take place on Thursday 12 July at 9 p.m., Antonini will offer a concert accompanied by violin and cello, in the Garden and outdoors, surrounded by the vegetation that in a way was the beginning and now closes a cycle, sharing it with the whole audience.
