Universitat de València’s Poetry Award César Simón 21st edition

Universitat de València’s Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society has called the Poetry Award César Simón 21st edition to promote Spanish poetry and celebrate César Simón’s legacy as a poet, filologist and professor of the Universitat de València. The award comes with a prize of 2,500 euros and publishing a book of poems with the edition UV Publications Service

Each participant can only present on book of poems. Poems must be in Spanish but their topic, metrics and rhymes are free. Poem prose is also accepted. The texts must be original and inedited, and the must not have been presented in previous calls or other simultaneous contests. They can’t be already awarded either. They can contain between 30 and 60 poems. The submission deadline is 30 January.
