The Rector Peset Hall of Residence holds the exhibition ‘¾ Disseny de producte emergent’, developed as part of Valencia’s designation as World Design Capital 2022. The exhibition is the result of the cooperation between the Universitat Jaume I and the Universitat de València through the office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society and the Rector Peset Hall of Residence, which hosts the exhibition compiling the projects developed in the platform Intercrea.

The initiative shows the work process Intercrea has developed since its appearance. It has given students of the Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development Degree of the Universitat Jaume I the opportunity to take their ideas to the next level, not only academically, but also to one with more projection in the world of design.

The initial contact with the real world of creative professions is not easy. It is vague, unstable and wandering. Intercrea offers the opportunity to take a look at what is, or should be, the professional world on the design field. It is like a step to bring you closer to that other world from a first encounter perspective, showing a vision of what reality could be so that you know how to act and cope with future incursions.

Thus, the exhibition collects the works that, since 2014 and until today, students have developed in collaboration with renowned businesses in national and international design, such as Lebana from TAU, KRION from Porcelanosa, Peronda, Mobles 114, Diabla from Gandia Blasco, Inclass and Luzifer Lamps.

The exhibition will be opened on June 3rd at 7 PM by Alba Pagán, Vice-Principal for Culture and Society of the Universitat de València; Julia Galán, professor of the Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development Degree and developer of Intercrea, and Ana Piquer, director of the School of Technology and Experimental Sciences of the UJI.
