The prestigious guitarist will present his new disc Rock Road in la Sapiencia Chapel at the Cultural Centre La Nau on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Amics de La Nau Gran. It will take place.

In his new work, the Valencian guitarist adapts legendary themes of the history of rock and heavy metal that were fundamental in the soundtrack of his life. Toni Cotolí is recognised as the best exponent of Mediterranean guitar in the international scene. He offers an exclusive collection of great themes of the history of rock adapted to classical guitar.

Rock Road includes versions of bands such as Queen Scorpions, Guns’N’Roses or Metallica or more modern ones like Passenger, Imagine Dragons, Keane or Hoobastank. This new work means coming back to his origins, as he started his musical career playing in local rock bands.

Cotolí has six edited Cds: Toni Cotolí (2003), Entre Amigos (2007), Puesta de Sol (2010), Sueños (2014), Aromas de Guitarra – Oda (2015) y Rock Road (2018). They have been presented in France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England, United States, Japan, China and United Arab Emirates.

The concert is integrated within the cycle of activities that the association Amics de La Nau Gran has organised to celebrate the 10th anniversary. From January to June, the association, in which more than 1,500 people participate, has organised a wide programme of activities opened for the public. It includes panels of discussion, exhibitions, conferences, concerts and plays of theatre in different places of the city.
