M. Emilia Adán succeeds Juan Manuel Pérez Mira, who was president of University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) the last two years, a period that he has described as “intense and deeply rewarding”.

The new president of University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) has congratulated Juan Manuel Pérez on his work and management during his presidency. At the same time, she has declared her wish to work in the same direction of her predecessors that have the goal of deepening the cooperation between university-company. “The ideas of Juan Manuel Pérez Mira have allowed to improve these foundation; he leaves an indelible mark”, she has said. “All together keep the University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) as essential part for the Valencian society”, she has pointed out.

On the other hand, the principal of the Universitat de València, M. Vicenta Mestre, has joined the recognition of Juan Manuel Pérez Mira’s work as a president of ADEIT and she has congratulated M. Emilia Adán, whom she has thanked her “kindness” accepting the presidence of the Consell Social of the Universitat de València and University-Business Foundation (ADEIT).

A Foundation to promote the Universitat to the business environmentThe University-Business Foundation (ADEIT), an organization of the Universitat de València, works, for more than 30 years, to help as meeting point for Universitat de València and its socio-economic environment. For that reason, it develops training programmes, internships, employability and entrepeneurship, among others. The University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) has a Trust with representatives of Universitat de València and Valencian society, as well as a huge group of important companies that opt for the promotion of the university-business cooperation.  

M. Emilia Adán García career

The new president of the Consell Social of the Universitat was born in Segorbe (Castelló) and she graduated with an extraordinary award in Law at the Universitat de València. She get also a Law’s Diploma d’Estudis Avançats (DEA) (a tertiary education degree).

The Registrar of Propietat I Mercantil since 1988, has done her work in the offices of Viver (Castelló), Gandia, Manises (València), Segorbe and Nules (Castelló), apart from València city.

M. Emilia Adán has been director of Centre d’Estudis Registrals of the Valencian Community and member of Comissió del Protectorat de Fundacions de la Comunitat Valenciana and the Fòrum per la Justícia del Consell General de l’Advocacia. She was also the president of Associació CONVIVENTIA until 2017.

In 2010, she was elected as dean of Col.legi de Registradors de la Propietat, Mercantils I de Béns Mobles of the Valencian Community and was re-elected in 2014. In 2017, she was chosen as dean of Registradores de la Propiedad, Mercantiles y Bienes Muebles, she keeps this position.

Since July 2019 she is also spokesperson of the Comité Executiu of the Conferència de Consells Socials de les Universitats Espanyoles (Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees).
