Over 2100 Erasmus students will com to Universitat de València for the 2025-2026 academic year

Over 2100 Erasmus students have been accepted in Universitat de València for the 2025-2026 academic year, numbers that displays the Valencian univerity lead position in the mobility programmes of Europe. Meanwhile, over 2070 UV students will also be studying abroad with the Erasmus programme all over european universities, the largest amoun of students since the programme started.

Universitat de Valènciahas welcomed new students on Monday. TheFaculty of Medicine and Dentistrybecame the stage for students reception of the three campuses. The FORTHEM Pincipal's DelegateEsteban Sanchisand the Head of theInternational Relations ServiceCarlos Pomeroffered interesting data (activities, facilities, services available...) for a successful arrival and stay of these students.

A University leading in Erasmus and open to the world

Universitat de Valènciahas welcomed 2117 Erasmus students, reaffirming their lead in the European programme. Italy, Germany and France are the main origin countries this time, although cultural diversity is much broader, with 81 students from outside Europe (Latin America, USA, Canada, China, Korean and Japan) and 298SICUEstudents from Spanish universities.

230FORTHEMstudents also join us in specific activities to improve the cultural and social integration.

The students arrival nourishes the international experience of both the coming and home students who live together at an ever more international campus where cultural and academic exchange is constant.

Successful depature of oer 2000 Erasmus students

2070 UV students will also join several European universities in the Erasmus programme this year, record numbers in its history. The most demanded destination is Bologna.

University service and life

The welcome sessions had several services with them, like UVsports, the Language Centre or the Service of Language and Political Linguistics, with stands for providing information to new students.

Erasmus Student Network Association (ESN)has also collaborated in these sessions with their social, cultural and volunteering activities of their programme that help incoming students to integrate in the university community. Each UV faculty also holds aspecific orientation sessionadapted to each degree.
