A conference by Mariano Fernández Enguita opens the Plan de Formación de Impulso al Liderazgo Docente

This Tuesday, 14 February, Professor Mariano Fernández Enguita will give the conference ‘Más academia y menos aula. ¿Es posible otra docencia en la Universidad?’ The meeting starts the Plan de Formación de Impulso al Liderazgo Docente, a new long-term training action (75 hours) addressed to all members of PDI of the university community.

The event will be assisted by the Principal of the Universitat de València, Esteban Morcillo, and the Vice-Principal for Training and Educational Quality Policies, Ramón López.  It will take place at 11 am at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences.

Plan de Formación de Impulso al Liderazgo Docente is a training programme managed by PDI of the Universitat de València. Centre for Education and Quality Manuel Sanchis Guarner introduces this plan to put the order of Teaching Assessment Handbooks (DOCENTIA Programme, 2015) into effect.  The aim is to reconsider the education and to improve the teaching quality.

The training activities which are part of the plan are mainly short-term activities (conferences or presentations) and more practical (workshops and seminars). The plan is composed of five modules and it will be completed for four editions.
