Adeit i les Arts

Adeit Foundation and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia have signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of establishing cooperative relations between them. This intention is summed up in the possibility of making exchanges between ADEIT and Les Arts, the development of stays from the student body of the Universitat de València through curricular and extracurricular internships as well as the inclusion of the performances of Les Arts within the cultural programming organised by ADEIT to the attendees to its conferences and activities.

Likewise, both entities consider also the organisation of conferences in the framework of Las Conferencias of ADEIT. This programme is introduced as a series of debates about current topics of social interest for the business world and for the university community. And, once the agreement has been signed, it will be possible to count on experts related to opera, music and ballet whose performance is planned for the Les Arts programming.

The agreement includes also the chance to create the Chair for Palau de les Arts- Universitat de València with the objective of contributing to the projection of the cultural areas, artistic creation and knowledge in the field of Humanities.

The agreement was signed by Davide Livermore, artistic director of the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia, Francisco Potenciano, artistic director and economic and administrative director of this institution; and Antonio Aracil, managing director of the Foundation University- Enterprise ADEIT.

Aracil said that linking the image of ADEIT to the Palau de Les Arts “is a good investment” apart from being “essential” to have a common ground in which is possible to strength the culture because the Palau de les Arts has become a national and international ambassador of the Region of Valencia. “The cooperation between both entities will have a direct effect: a major dissemination of the knowledge through strategic activities of our foundation, which is a meeting point of the Universitat de València and the Valencian enterprises”.

Davide Livermore has expressed satisfaction with this alliance that allows Les Arts to make progress in its public theatre project at the service of the citizens. “The interaction among Les Arts, the UV and the enterprise is a step further up a cultural policy related to its environment through their excellences without losing its international vocation”. On the other hand, Francisco Potenciano has pointed out “the importance of opening the doors of the lyric theatre to young professionals in order to discover new employment prospects”.

The agreement is only valid for four years and can be renewed with the explicit and prior agreement of both parties. The application and execution of this agreement do not incur any economic obligations.
