The full university professors of the Universitat de València Antonio Ariño and Joan Romero have been awarded with the prize to the best civic contribution given by Cartelera Turia for their book ‘La secesión de los ricos’ (Galaxia Gutemberg 2016). The award ceremony took place at Teatro Talia last Saturday during the 26th edition of ‘Premios Turia’.

This is not the first prize that this book receives. ‘La secesión de los ricos’ has been distinguished with the 2017 Prizes of Valencian Literary Review in the Essay and Review category. The award ceremony will take place soon.

The main topic of the essay is the growth of the economic inequality and its global consequences. More information in: http://links.uv.es/mx7i7WV
