Awards ceremony for the 100 best PAU and NAU marks

This year, over 130 students have received the diploma accrediting them as one of the best academic records in the PAU or NAU, some even in both. This way, 73 students obtained the recognition for both marks while 29 just for the PAU and 26 just for the NAU.

The students belong to 68 educational centres, public and private, of the province of Valencia, who were represented by teachers and members of the directive boards.

The students received the certificates from the hands of the delegate for University Incorporation, M. José Lorente; the Vice-Principal for Studies, Isabel Vázquez; the Principal of the Universitat de València, M. Vicenta Mestre, who had to be excused due to an ailment, and the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment.

During the closing words, both the vice-principals and the delegate congratulated the students and their families. They also took the opportunity and reassured the students for this new journey they are about to embark on and wanted to highlight that the Universitat de València —first Valencian university, first in reception of Erasmus students in Europe, first in disability in Spain, public first in sports in Spain, and among the top five in the different knowledge fields— awaits them with open arms to train them and open the doors towards a future full of success.
