The Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València has opened the call for the presentation of candidacies for the XXVIII University-Society Prizes.

In this edition, the awards are divided in four modalities that will give recognition to collectives implied in favouring the collaboration university-society: to professionals with a successful career who studied in the Universitat de València, through the Award to Alumni Plus/Insigne UV; to enterprises that collaborate with the Universitat de València with different programmes, through the Award to University-Society Contribution; to active educational and researcher staff of the Universitat de València, through the Award to Knowledge Transfer; and to educational staff with an active implication in the lectures, through the Award to Lecturing Excellence.

Award to Alumni Plus / Insigne UV
This category aims to recognise the professional, academic and business excellence of graduated students of the Universitat de València which have a proven track record that demonstrates an exemplary and particularly relevant contribution to the progress of society.

Award to University-Society Contribution
This category is focused on recognising people, institutions, entities or enterprises that are important in their respective sectors, with special collaboration links with the Universitat de València and that outstand specially in their support and cooperation with the said institution.

Award to Lecturing Excellence
This award recognises the work of the professors in the Universitat de València, and it is related to educational innovation and teaching quality.

Award to Knowledge Transfer
This category is directed to teaching and research staff of the Universitat de València that participates in research projects with entities, institutional chairs o in university spin-offs.
