Carmen Alborch gives the main conference in the briefing sessions for Conèixer Programme’s advisers.

Carmen Alborch will give the main conference of the 21st Briefing Sessions for advisers, management and teaching staff of secondary teaching on Tuesday 14 January in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, starting at 10.

The inauguration of the 21st edition will be performed by the principal, Esteban Morcillo, and the vice-principal for Undergraduate Studies and Language Policy of the Universitat de València, Isabel Vázquez. The first conference (‘Civic virtue and experience’) will be given by the politician, writer and professor Carmen Alborch. Then there will be a round table regarding experiences ‘Help between equals and incorporation in the Universitat de València’, with the participation of the professor and coordinator of the Entreiguals Programme at the Faculty of Physics, María Jesús Hernández; the trainee researcher and former mentor at the Faculty of Physics, Jorge Sola; and the student of Medicine and mentor, Beatriz Atienza. The table will be moderated by the Students’ Delegate of the Universitat de València, Jordi Caparrós.
The sessions will close with the intervention of the vice-principal Isabel Vázquez, who will speak of “Final exams, access and addition: a long process to reach their starting point’. There are 365 registered participants for these sessions. 

On the other hand, the centres and services of the Universitat prepare to receive, on 14, 15 and 16 February, high school and higher level vocational training students who will participate in the Visits, in which there are registered more than 14.000 pre-university participants.
