Courses with credits to improve employability and entrepreneurship are now on offer

The Universitat de València, through UVOcupació (UVjob), has published the new offer of training courses for employment and entrepreneurship for the first quarter of the 2022-23 academic year. There are eight online training programmes running from October to December for which ECTS credits can be earned.

 

UVocupació (UVJob), the service of the University, launches a new training programme to promote the employability of students of the UV, which is part of the actions to support the increased employability of future professionals that develops the Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employability.

This new cycle has a wide variety of courses to provide new employability tools, acquire skills and knowledge for entrepreneurship, techniques to highlight one’s own competences in the professional world or to start looking for a job.

2022-2023 course offer

This new offer aims to provide comprehensive training to improve skills and preparation in job search processes, as well as learning about entrepreneurship. Among the eight training programmes, there are courses from recent editions such as ‘Essential digital tools and skills from employability’, ‘Employment and professional development in family businesses’ and ‘Financial education for employment and entrepreneurship for university students’.

Other well-established courses included in the current four-month period and repeating editions are: ‘Learn to become and entrepreneur’, ‘The job selection interview: Training for the acquisition of skills’, ‘Strategies for job-placement: Curriculum analysis and selection process’, ‘Design, development and presentation of the business plan’ and ‘Communication and decision-making skills’.

Each of these courses has a specific timetable, programme and objectives. Those who register will also receive ECTS credits at the end of the course, access to the virtual classroom of the Universitat de València with study material and the option of a discount for being part of the university community. All eight courses are open for enrolment until the beginning of each course. A certificate will be issued for each programme upon completion of the requirements.
