The credentials of the Programme ‘International Santander Scholarships of the Universitat de València’ will be awarded to the grant holders on Monday

From the academic year 2008-2009, Banco Santander collaborates actively in the training of the university students through the funding of scholarships of international mobility.

For the academic year 2017-2018, Banco Santander, within its programme ‘Santander Universidades’, funds the international stays of some students of the Universitat de València through the following mechanisms:

1. - Santander Ibero-American Scholarships for the Degree. There are 29 grants of 3000€ for the UV students who study in any of the Latin-American universities which has an agreement of this modality with the Banco Santander.

2. - Contribution of 200,000€ for co-financing the grants of the International Programme of the UV to study in universities of United States, Latin-America, Australia, Russia, Asia or Canada. This contribution will benefit more than 180 students.

The ceremony of awarding credentials, to which all the beneficiaries of these grants are invited, will count on the presence of the Principal, Esteban Morcillo; the vice-principal for Internationalisation and Cooperation, Guillermo Palao; and the Regional Manager for Valencia and Murcia of Banco de Santander, Antonio Valldecabres.

Moreover, Laia Parents, beneficiary of the programme during the academic year 2016-2017, will also take part in the event to explain her recently completed experience at Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey.
