The delegation of the UASD (Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo) has visited the UV this week. The members of the Dominican delegation were received by the principal, Esteban Morcillo, last Wednesday; an event in which they had work sessions about the structure of the degree studies, master’s degree and doctoral programme in both institutions with the vice-principals of the UV Isabel Vázquez and Rafael Crespo, and with the director of the Graduate school, José Vicente Bagan.

The delegation consists of the vice-principal for Research and Postgraduate Studies Francisco Vegazo; the dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Alejandro Ozuña; and the dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Ramón Desangles.

On the 12 they visited the Tarongers Campus and the Burjassot/Paterna Campus, as well as the Parc Científic of the UV. Moreover, they had a meeting with over thirty students. At this meetings, it has been found the contribution that the UV can do to facilitate access to the doctorate to the school-leavers of the UASD as well as to the university professors that do not have such degree.

Lastly, on Friday they visited the International Relations Service where they have had an interview with Alfredo Rosado, delegate of the principal for mobility and exchange, and finally the Cultural Centre La Nau, where they have been received by the vice-principal for International Relations, Guillermo Palao; and the one for Postgraduate Studies, Rafael Crespo.
